One Piece Fan Letter

One Piece Fan Letter is a 24-minute anime special released on 2024, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the One Piece television anime. Directed by acclaimed director Megumi Ishitani, the special shifts the narrative spotlight away from the famous pirates and onto ordinary citizens, civilians, and low-ranking Marines within the world of One Piece.

This might be the best Tv special episode I have ever seen from any show. This is very different form any One Piece episode or any One Piece movie. This is very original in storytelling and how its directed. I hope the director makes more of this, with the same characters or ... with new characters. I cant believe this even exists. It seems to be heavily hand drawn. I wonder what the budget of this is like compared to other recent One Piece episodes.

I highly recommend it even if you are not caught of with One Piece. Its just incredible, would be a shame to miss it.

extremely over hyped. uh yeah this is just cool animations nothing more really, it has a shallow story but you can't expect much. (no pedo shit which makes it already makes it better anything post time skip has to offer)

Positives: it is a very visually pleasing OVA and I think its cool to contextualize the story from an ordinary Jim in the world.

Negatives: too short for the story they are trying to give so the story suffers and feels half assed, its tied to the One Piece, the cuts feel too hectic at points to just get some story then they give us a ... long ass nothing burger cuts, adds nothing really to the story.

I'm not a One Piece enjoyer anymore but this was a cool watch

Overhyped filler how the hell is this rated so high lol it's not even a canon arc or cour ☠️

Op fans rate anything high at this point because of emotional bias

This should not even be in top 50 rated
Yet this is in top 20
This shows how overrated op is because of op fandom

I have same problem with op manga
Because it's very overrated and rated so high for no good reason
... All the big 3 manga should never be rated this high, because they are battle Shonen with less realistic and grounded writing like senien

Among big 3 bleach is least generic for me plus it has way realistic and grounded writing then op and Naruto
Yet its manga is last in big 3 rating ☠️

This shows compare to bleach how overrated op is

From my experience back then Naruto was most overrated in big 3 but now it's definitely op
